The Origin of SMZ Machinery
SMZ Machinery was born out of a passion for technology and a drive for innovation. The company was founded by Rini Scheer, who started Rini Scheer Groen Grond en Water in 2004. This company grew into a modern business with a wide range of services in the green, ground, and water sectors.
In 2008, Rini and his wife Maaike started Scheer Machines, where they, along with a team of expert employees, sold and customized forestry equipment. Customizing and refurbishing machines was an important part of their work, making them more suitable for the specific needs of their customers and their own operations.
Through their own expertise as dealers of forestry products and working with these products themselves, they developed their own ideas about what works well and what doesn't. This led to the development of their own products. It was a process of trial and error, where they designed something themselves and then worked with it. This quickly revealed what works well, what doesn't, what breaks easily, and what is very maintenance-friendly.
From these experiences, SMZ Machinery emerged, a brand focused on designing and manufacturing innovative and high-quality equipment for the construction and forestry sectors. Through their own expertise and practical experience, they have developed a line of products that are both functional and easy to maintain.
Today, SMZ Machinery consists of a dedicated team of eight people. This team of professionals works together to fulfill the company's mission: providing products that improve safety and efficiency in the construction and forestry sectors. SMZ Machinery continues to strive for quality and customer satisfaction, and continues to grow and innovate to meet the needs of their customers.
